The Dent and Garsdale Community Hyperfast Broadband Initiative is a collaboration between B4RN, a non-profit specialist fibre broadband service provider (set up over 6 years ago and now with 3,500+ homes connected to its 1000Mbps fibre-to-the-home network), and the volunteers and communities of Dent and Garsdale.
Many properties in Dent are now connected, finance for Garsdale has already been secured, the orange pipe/duct which will contain the fibre is approaching the outskirts of Garsdale, community-minded landowners have given in-principle permission to allow the duct to be buried across their land – all we need now are volunteers to help make it happen in Garsdale.
