There is a significant amount of surfacing work coming up on the A684, Garsdale Road, commencing on Mon 6th March in the following order:
Moss to Bowkers Cottage/Hall Bank
Potholme Gill – New Bridge (the Garsdale one)
Aye Gill – Roger Pot nursery
The works are all programmed to take place at night from 19:30 onwards and will require a full road closure to meet current H&S regulations.
The road will be re-opened to traffic at the end of each shift and there are no plans to work Sat / Sun nights at present.
Completion is expected by Fri 17th March
There is a possibility that work may continue further East on the A684 beyond 17th – through until the end of March.
