On Wednesday 6th June Garsdale is celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by holding the annual, traditional Children’s Sports from 1.00pm followed by tea in Garsdale Village Hall. For this special year it will be free entry onto the field.
The evening celebrations start at 7.30pm in the marquee, with a hog roast and homemade desserts followed by a disco with bar. Fancy dress is optional, a prize will be presented for best outfit. The grand raffle will be drawn during the evening. Tickets cost £10 (£5 for Primary aged children), and are available from Rosemary Lord 20993, Thomas Todd 20615, Graham Lant 20066 and Joyce Scarr 20502.
Our next meeting is Monday 21st May @ 7.30pm to finalise arrangements for the evening celebrations. If you have any items suitable for a hamper please bring them along to the meeting.
